These pictures both came out good, nice "bokeh"!Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04679461800084973868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8116206520787459203.post-1858328987820038182012-06-27T12:35:06.372-10:002012-06-27T12:35:06.372-10:00Q, the 17-35mm will fit in the housing if I buy a ...Q, the 17-35mm will fit in the housing if I buy a special port to go on the housing for the lens. When I bought the housing it came with the Nikon 24mm f2.8 lens and the port for it. I got a real deal on the whole set up (housing, port and lens) and I just couldn't let it go by. The ports can run up to $400 each for the bigger lenses just because they have to be so much bigger and stronger since they are guaranteed to a depth of 200 feet.

I was planning on using an 18-55mm lens on the D300 because it will fit in the same port as the 24mm lens but I may switch back and forth with the 24mm lens and see what gets the better pictures for what I want to do.

I'm planning on some sealife photos (turtles, fish and maybe a whale) and I also want to get some "in the curl" wave shots so I will just have to see what does better. I might look at a new port next year.Ronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16449035484180022546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8116206520787459203.post-60796483140876802612012-06-27T12:19:36.241-10:002012-06-27T12:19:36.241-10:00Congratulations on your new lens. I would think the 17-35mm would perform better.Quynh Lehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13516187909360782643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8116206520787459203.post-66623630449124537102012-06-27T11:31:42.836-10:002012-06-27T11:31:42.836-10:00Rose of Sharon are great plants for hot weather an...Rose of Sharon are great plants for hot weather and full sun. Like the way they bloom everyday and add lots of color to wherever they grow. We have two bushes that are kept trimmed back to about 7 feet. Fast growers. Growing by a waterfall would produce a tropical feel for sure!

Well the new lens produces very focused images with nice precision colors. I see no leaks, so it looks good to go to me!parkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17201281917735686135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8116206520787459203.post-33660240369754076522012-06-27T08:18:18.269-10:002012-06-27T08:18:18.269-10:00they're very pretty. rose of sharon always sou...they're very pretty. rose of sharon always sounds so exotic to me. :)TexWisGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13641962051044162710noreply@blogger.com
