A Seagull dare gone horribly wrong!
Stephanie my wife took this picture of a Seagull with a Starfish a couple of days ago, I just had to share it!
I can think of a dozen funny captions to go with this shot... Love to hear what captions everyone out there in the blogosphere can come up with!

Recent bird pictures
I figured I better post these mediocre bird pictures before Ron gets back with some really spectacular Osprey images!
The first picture is an Eagle nest in downtown Port Hardy, The middle shot is a Turkey Vulture and the last picture is a couple of Seagulls arguing over a Sea Lion...
Just playing around
I'm headed to Oklahoma tomorrow for a few days with the cameras to see if the ospreys have returned. Hopefully the weather will calm down some so I can actually get the camera out of the bag!

Greetings from the Kale patch!
Stephanie waving at me from a patch of feral Kale that just showed up last year in an unused lot. Looks like this bunch will soon be gone to seed.
Yes I know... It's a cell phone picture, I was too lazy to dig out my good camera!

Busy, Busy, Busy..
I'm still having to dig through the old files to get some photos to post. My wife and I took a trip to Colorado last weekend so I could take some photos and as luck would have it, they had a blizzard!
We went up into the mountains around Evergreen and were there for about an hour before the snow started and then it just never stopped. By the afternoon they had the highways heading into the mountains closed and by the next morning the snow had hit Denver and we decided to run while we could. They were expecting 8-10 inches of snow and I wasn't going to stick around for that.
Getting out of Colorado was one of the longest and slowest drives I have made in a long time. We waited about two hours too long to start heading back. Once we were into Kansas and out of the snow we hit torrential rains for another two hours of stressful driving. Needless to say I didn't get any photos.

Cobwebs and dew
Everyone has heard of "Cobwebs" right?
So my question is just what exactly is a "Cob"
and have you ever seen one making a web?
The Buddha and the Moon
I've been playing with changing some of my photos into black and white just to get a different feel out of them.
Is that weird or artistic?

Just playing around
I haven't had time to take any new photos lately so I thought I would look at some old photos I have and push some buttons in Photoshop that I have never used.
There's lots of buttons I haven't used so hopefully I will find some time to take some new photos or you might be seeing some really weird photos!

Pass the allergy pills please
I couldn't figure out why I was so stuffed up when I got up this morning, then when I headed out I saw this on the windshield of my pickup truck! Man oh man something let go, absolutely everything around here is covered in that greenish yellow pollen dust.
Big Slide
I was digging through the old files today and came across this shot I took with the fisheye lens a few years back.
I seem to be getting stranger in my old age!

The Streak
I would like to tell you this was me running past the camera with a couple of flashlights but since I'm an old fat guy I won't do that.
This was a car driving in front of my camera while I was trying to get a shot of the stars. At first I was cussing the driver because he went right through my shot and then I thought, hmmm, this isn't the worst picture I've ever taken.
