I was out hiking and came across these flowers fighting for their share of the sunlight. I took this photo fromthe other side of the valley with the Tamron 18-250 lens. It was odd seeing a spot of bright yellow among the granite rocks. You can just barely see the flowers in the center of the photo.
Nice shot good story to go with! Just looking at all those big boulders you know that the poor little flower can't have a whole lot of soil where it is growing... Plants can be so tenaceous sometimes!
