Nanaimo is on the East side of Vancouver Island about 30 miles across Georga Strait from Vancouver. Just North of Nanaimo is Pipers Lagoon. At the mouth of this lagoon are these funky little beach shacks overlooking Oyster covered beaches.
I recall coming here as a child with my parents and many times since. This view has not changed one bit in all those years.
It's nice to see that some things never change. Was this taken with the wide angle lens?
ReplyDeleteI guess you don't have to worry about hurricanes cleaning the beach up there, huh?
That is a neat little camp. Not many places stay the same for long anymore.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the geography lesson. Vancouver Island seems to be a very unique place. Keep the pics and stories coming!
Just like a painting. Good work Paul!
