More Trees

The Parallel Forest

These cedar trees were originally planted in the early 1900's so that they could be used as fence posts once the trees were big enough. The land they are on is now a wildlife refuge and they don't allow harvesting of any trees or plants so the forest just sits as a reminder of the past when steel fence posts couldn't be gotten.

Rumors have it that the forest is haunted but I didn't run into any scary things while I was there. Maybe a night time shoot will be different?

This was also taken with the Sigma 10-20mm lens.

  2. The fence post forest... I had no idea such a thing existed.

You are getting some great shots with your new Sigma 10-20!

This picture really captures the symmetry of the rows of trees. nice shooting!

Now just have to get a 77mm filter that highlights plasma and the infra red spectum and do a ghost hunt.
