I agree with Parker, we do need a Hawaii break!!! It looks like my trip is going to get pushed to February of next year, the wife wants to go on her birthday.
These are some really nice photos! Making them black and white really brings out the waves and action.
It look like you are right there on the water with this guy!
Just out of curiosity, what am I seeing in the background of the first picture. It's really faint but it looks like a wall or something. Is that a big waving breaking in the background?
I don't think I would be brave enough to surf that close to a pier. I can't really surf anyway but if I did I'm sure the first thing that would happen is I would slam right into the pier! LOL
All of you guys need a Hawaii break!
ReplyDeleteQuynh Le these are some serious action packed photos! All the elements of the camera settings seem to be working in your favor.
I hear the surfs up in Hawaii now! LOL

Ron, what you see in the background is the Hungtington beach pier.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

Wow spectacular pictures! Nice and crisp, everything that needs to be is in focus. Nice.
ReplyDeleteOne question though, were these pictures taken at night or why is the background so dark?
Paul, the background is dark because there is no lighting under the pier. Actually these shots were during afternoon.
