I guess everybody has jellyfish on the brain! LOL
I took these using a Nikon D700 with a Nikon 17-35 f2.8 lens using just the available light. The ISO on the camera was set at 6400.
Hey Paul,
SURPRISE!
I was doing some "window shopping" this week just to check prices and see what was available with no intention of buying anything and came across a deal I just couldn't walk away from. The next underwater shots I take will be with the Nikon D700 in it's new Ikelite underwater housing and a Nikon 24mm f2.8 lens. I just couldn't help myself! (I really couldn't)
These are fabulous, the colors are wild :) I likey!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust thought of something...no wonder you're not getting your unpacking done..you're too busy online SHOPPING!!! However it looks like a good find, I'll cut you some slack THIS time!! LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL Val! I'm multi-tasking! That sounds better than goofing off, doesn't it?
DeleteTop photos for sure. Nice job Ron. =)
ReplyDeleteStrange organisms these jelly fish are. A color show in themselves! 6400 ISO-WoW!
ReplyDeleteThat new underwater gadget looks as strange as the Jellyfish.LOL Your arsenal just keeps growing! Good for you!
Sweet shots Ron! Congrats on your great, new piece of equipment!!
ReplyDeleteFirst I have to say your Jellyfish photos are spectacular! I don't recall ever seeing pictures quite this good of these unique creatures.
ReplyDeleteNow as for your new toy... LOL What a beauty! Not going to be able to get you out of the water next time you go to Maui!
I need to be careful around camera shop windows... Just one look can cost huge $$$!
I plan on spending lots of time in the water on the next trip Paul. Now if I can just quit buying stuff and pay for the trip... LOL
