Foggy evening in Hardy Bay

A blanket of fog slides into Hardy Bay at the end of another Fall afternoon. 

The tourists are gone and the rain has returned, a faint smell of wood stove smoke is on the air... Home Sweet Coastal Home!

    In fact we got our first bit of termination dust last night!

    Termination Dust. In Alaska, the first snow to dust the mountains is called "termination dust" because historically it signaled the impending termination of summer ...
