These three are from a single morning taking photos, which started out looking for birds to take photos of and ended up being a landscape and sunrise photo shoot. The lake I went to for the birds just happened to be dead calm with a nice layer of fog lingering over the top of it. As the sun came up the sky became alive with colors, which I will share in a later post, and reflected beautifully off of the water. I ended up taking roughly 80 different shots that morning and will share more of the other photos over the next few posts of mine. I kind of felt like a mad man snapping away. I know they aren't Hawaiian but, hey I kinda like Kansas's big sky.
like mirrors.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! What lens and camera did you use on these photos?
ReplyDeleteNikon D700 and 17-35mm f2.8 and shot as a 3 shot bracketed HDR.
DeleteWow, looks like you had some nice light and conditions to work with. These pictures are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWow is right! These are all really great but the second and third shots are my favorites, especially the third shot. I like the way the clouds are lined up in it making the photo just come at you.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic.
