Playing with timelapse following the clouds into sunset

 I'm still learning a lot about timelapse video but as always, I buy all of the equipment and figure it out later! This was shot with the Nikon D850 on a motorized rail from my lanai.

No snow here!!

This is a picture Stephanie took of our bottom yard about two weeks ago. It hasn't quit snowing or warmed up since... It's definitely going to be a "White Christmas" on Northern Vancouver Island this year!

Morning rain on Maui

 This is another time-lapse from the Nikon D850. I even managed to get a rainbow in this one.

This was two and a half hours of taking photos every five seconds.

Sunset at Big Beach

 

This is Big Beach, also known as Makena State Park on the south end of Maui. This shot was actually taken looking away from the sunset. On this particular evening there wasn't much happening where the sun was going down but behind us it turned into a pretty good show.

 

Timelapse photogoraphy with the Nikon D850

 The Nikon D850 has the ability to shoot and put together a time lapse in the camera. I have been playing with this some lately because the possibilities for time lapse here are just about endless.

This time lapse was taken from my lanai last month. This is two hours of photos with a photo being taken every eight seconds.

Whale season is officially over here in Hawaii but I was able to get out a few times before it ended and do some flying with the drone. These three shots were from March and April.

It has been a very long time since I posted anything. Life has been keeping me busy here in paradise. Of course the pandemic hasn't helped much either.

I haven't done much in the last year photography wise but I do have a few things that I am going to post and I have officially started back taking photos with my new camera, a Nikon D850.

 

This particular shot was taken with my drone just a couple of days ago.

Hopefully there will be lots of interesting photos to post soon.
