I like the way this came out. You did a good job of not letting the light from the window wash out the shot and there is still plenty of light to highlight the other details.
Love this observation that you captured so well. What struck me right off was the lack of interaction amongst the ferry riders. Each was in their own little worlds tending to their own activity. I got the feeling they were regular passengers of this ferry and the passing scenery from outside the window had been seen many times and held no interest. Three generations of ferry riders on their way to Vancouver. Great human interest capture!
This very well could be a norman rockwell. I agree with parker just a normal day for these travlers. Great job on the composition and capturing the light.
