I have shown a couple of photos of this school of fish before but I was going through my photos today and found one that I had taken from the top of the hill looking down into the cove.
That dark blob in the center of the photo is the school of fish. To give you an idea of how large the school was, this photo was taken from about 200 yards away.
These two were taken just a little closer!
shark! :)
ReplyDeleteThose waters sure contain a lot of fish. I can just imagine one of those whales you photo swimming thru that school with it's mouth wide open.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to worry about getting eaten by a whale in Hawaii Parker. They say once the whales leave Alaska and head to Hawaii they don't eat anything until they return to Alaska 2-3 of months later. If memory serves me right, I think these whales only eat plankton but I could be wrong.
DeleteVery cool.
ReplyDeleteQuite the blob alright! Must be safety in the shallow waters for these little fishes... Sure like those underwater pictures you're getting with your setup!
ReplyDeleteThis is crazy!
