Here kitty kitty...



Over the years we've seen Bears, Deer, Otters, Salmon, Owls, Eagles and numerous other types of birds in out yard... Then today for the first time we had a Cougar come to visit!  Fortunately my camera was close by and I managed to get a few good shots before it disappeared into the woods.

    oh, my goodness! keep your pups safe! wow, i really thought these were shot at a zoo or preserve!

      Hopefully this fine feline was just passing through and not looking for a meal, just the same the pups will be on leases for the next few days even in the yard and our cat will have to spend a few days indoors...

    Yikes! I hope that was shot with the Sigma at 400mm!

    Oh wow! A cougar in your yard!? That's something else! Great shots, but I'm sure are chickens are glad we don't have any around here!
