I just love this time of year!!
Although it looks like I was far away with this shot I was actually only about 4 feet away. I took this using a fisheye lens, that's why the surface of the water is curved, but it allowed me to get the whole whale in the shot.
I'm headed back out in a couple of days to see what else I can get.
I am impressed!

Perfect shot on the 2nd one. You need to get yourself a boat rigged with photography equipment. Also, open a tour guide business for photographers on land, and water.

DeleteI have actually thought about the photo tour guide business (on land) but I need to learn a few more spots on the island before I start that. I want to be able to give photographers their money's worth if I'm giving a tour and I need a few different tours (2 hour, half day and all day)
