Ron might be the "Sunset Wizard" but when it comes to Eagles that's where I shine... It helps that I live over on the West Coast of Canada! LOL
Found this immature Bald Eagle watching me as I went about my business yesterday so I took a few pictures before he flew away. (Nikon D90, Sigma 120-400 at 400mm and aperture set at f8 for clearer results with Sigma at full zoom)
Wqw!!!.. Impressive photo of this nice raptor.. Cheers!!!
ReplyDeleteA Wonderful capture! Even though just a juvenile bird, you captured a hint of the noble and powerful stature this raptor will grow into.
ReplyDeleteUncluttered blue background, 400mm at f8, made the right receipe for this image!
he is fabulous! i bow down to you, eagle master! i'm so envious as i've never seen an eagle in the wild. the closest is the mexican eagle (caracara). *sigh*
ReplyDelete"Sunset Wizard" and "Eagle Master"... Sounds like a couple of bigger than life characters from an adventure saga! LOL
DeleteNow you need to come up with handles for Parker, Q and Aaron.
Now you're just taunting me, makings it so I have to come to Canada and get some of these shots! LOL
ReplyDeleteThis is another great eagle shot. Parker is right, the blue background against the brown bird really makes it stand out.
I've got Canada on my bucket list, maybe next year, if I don't spend on my money on a new lens.
Just say the word! Same goes for Q and Parker if any of you and your families are up to a West Coast Canadian getaway...
DeleteThat's spectacular!
ReplyDeleteVery clean picture! Everything is perfect in this shot. Good Work!
