You are going to see the same effect everytime on this lens if you shoot against the sun. The effect created from the contour of the lens front element. Most of the wide angle lens, and ultra wide angle will create this effect. If you don't like it, I will buy this lens from you. LOL.

DeleteThis was shot taken at f16 looking right into the sun. I think the effect is from the aperture and getting lucky on the timing with the clouds.
