...but it's not my front yard either!
We spent a couple of days in the Colorado mountains this past weekend and I finally got a chance to take a few photos.
I also learned that spending a lot of time at high elevations requires patience and moving slower than usual, something along the pace of a government employee I think. LOL
You are probably already feel comfortable with the 14-24mm lens! The colors on these photos are great, may be it got to do with the LEE filters! There's a way to do lens correction on the CS5 to make the picture less distored. So, how's the LEE filters treating you?
ReplyDeleteI like the filters a lot Q. They're big for the 14-24mm so I had to reconfigure my bag but other than that they're great.
DeleteI thought about doing the lens correction on the first shot but I kind of liked the feel the distorion gave to the shot. It wasn't my best shot to begin with but there was just something about it I liked.
awesome for you! i like these views. i 'relate' to pines easier than palms. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll bet you were happy go get out and have time to take some pictures!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, government employee jokes...
Both nice captures, hope you have more to post from your Colorado trip.
