Afternoon At The Beach

Typical March day... A little wind, a little rain. What the heck good day for a walk on the beach.

The one consolation is that almost without exception you almost always have the beach to yourself!

My poor camera is still opened up and drying on the desk beside my computer...

What a life!

Stress free and relaxing by the fire. That's my kind of life!

The difference a day or two makes

The first photo I took two days ago when it was almost 70 degrees and this morning I woke up to 18 degrees and snow on the ground. I'm sure the flowers are as confused as I am!

Wasting time at the beach

Had an hour or so to kill yesterday afternoon so went looking for something to shoot... I found this fellow and his little friend at a local beach. Both were kind enough to stick around long enough for me to get a few nice pictures of them.

This was taken in Hawaii. The hotel my wife and I stayed at had several birds around the open air lobby.

Right place at the right time.

Some times it just works out... There you are with your camera and suddenly there's the perfect shot. Shortly after taking these pictures several cars parked beside this beautiful 57 Chevy and the moment was over.

More Crazy Clouds

OK, so I didn't run to the basement right away.

Elk

It's amazing how well these animals can hear. I was down wind almost 100 yards with a twenty mile an hour wind blowing and everytime the "silent wave" focus adjusted on my lens they looked up right in my direction. I couldn't even hear the lens but they could!

These clouds were over my house as a tornado producing storm was moving into the area. They looked different so I took a photo before I went and hid in the basement.
