We spent an entire day at the San Diego zoo and I think Aaron and I spent more time trying to photograph this one hummingbird than we did anything else there. The little birdie just wouldn't cooperate.
I think I changed lenses three times trying to get a good photo but everytime I changed lenses the hummingbird flew away. I would give up and change back to my original lens and he would come back. I think he would do that on purpose, or maybe Aaron was shewing him away when I wasn't looking. LOL
Awesome shots with some great color. It's hard catching those swift little birds.
ReplyDeleteLOL yes humming birds are quite a challenge to capture, I'd say you did a pretty darn good job getting this little fellow in flight!
ReplyDeleteI'm in agreement with Randy and Paul, the hummers are hard to capture. Colorful bird along with the flower. A darn good capture for sure!
ReplyDeletethat's a massive bloom he has found!
ReplyDeleteBella serie.. Y bello ColibrÃ.. Un saludo..
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a beautiful red color on this bird! I'm impressed with your bird photography lately. I hope you still thinking about the 200-400mm, and the 600mm lens. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks Q! I've been trying a few different things lately. Don't laugh too hard though Q, I'm actually wathcing a couple of used 20-400mm lense on e-bay right now. The 600mm will have to wait until next year.I just need the brides to keep on buying! LOL
