In flight

Pelicans were plentiful in San Diego. I think they out numbered the sea gulls.

    1. LOL! Had lunch before going to the beach. Although as low as they were flying had we had food I'm sure we would have had unwanted guests for lunch!

  2. These came out good, the lighting is just right. Usually shots from this angle are backlight.

I'll bet you and Aaron are getting some great photos on your trip, nothing like a change of scenery to get the photographers creative juices flowing!

    1. We would have gotten a lot more pictures but the family got bored with having to wait on us to take photos. There's a fine line between "oh wow, that's great" and "another photo? Really? LOL

As it was I only took about 700 photos and most of those are family related.

    2. You are correct about the fine line between the camera and the family while we on vacation. That's why I always take a day or two during our trip just me and my cameras.

These are great pictures! What lens did you use?

  3. Neat shots of a Pelican in flight. Kind of a pre-historic looking bird!
Most shots show the Pelican sitting on a mooring post by the docks. Good capture!
