Big red boat


Port Hardy is home to a Coast Guard Search and Rescue Station. It also hosts a steady stream of the larger Coast Guard vessels that patrol the many miles of waterways on the British Columbia Coast.

I took this picture of the "Gordon Reid" as it made it's way into Hardy Bay several days ago.

    Very big and very red! I agree with Tex, they would definitely be a welcome sight if yo uever needed them.

    I like this shot. The snow capped mountains in the background really add to the shot.
