Two cameras paid of again for this shot. I was set up with a wide angle lens on my D700 and a zoom lens on D300. If it wasn't for the zoom lens I would have never got these shots. The clouds were too far of in the distance for the wide angle to give any detail to them. So on the fly I switched to the zoom and was able to catch the sun just as it was setting into the cloud bank on the horizon. The V.O.G. (volcanic ash, sulfur and other gases release from a volcano) made for some interesting sunsets while we were there. It would make the sky turn some of the darkest oranges I have ever seen in the sky during a sunset.
Absolutely spectacular Aaron!
