We haven't had any rain to speak of the last couple of months so our fall colors didn't really pop this year. We had a few colors here and there but for the most part, everything just went from green to brown.
I did get some nice bright orange colors when I put the leaves in a pile and set them on fire!
we got a dump of rain the last two weekends after months of none so we're greening up here. and our burn ban just got lifted. :)

How much rain you want? So far we've had about 4.5 inches in the past week which is perfectly normal for over here on the Wet Coast of Canada... :)

Great shot of the fire! And I do like the color in the first photo. We've had a pretty dry fall as well. The roads were *so* dusty during harvest, but the fall colors turned out nicely.
