foggy Fishing

We made another trip to Bennett Springs State Park this weekend. When we left the house there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the sun was shining bright. About 15 minutes down the road in came the clouds and rain, lots and lots of rain!

We were already headed that way and I figured maybe the rain would scare off the anglers and I could get a few photos so we kept on going.

I did get a few photos but the fishermen were still there. They didn't even seem to notice that it was raining. This is what I would call a reverse fog. Generally, fog is created when the water is warmer than the outside air. In this case the falling rain was warmer than the spring water so when they mixed up popped the fog.

  2. I agreed with Paul. One of a kind shot. I would come back to this place during the Fall.
