Day one at the races



Though I don't race I really enjoy taking the camera to the annual bicycle races in nearby Port Alice! Here I get a chance to get real close to the action and hone my photography skills. This picture was taken with the Sigma 10-20 ultra wide at 10mm. The rider nearly ran over my camera...

Today was the cross country portion of the races, tomorrow is the faster downhill races! Hopefully the weather co-operates and I get a few good shots.

    I'm sure the rider appreciated having the flash go off in his face as he was making the turn! LOL
