Though not one of the Hawaiian Islands, Vancouver Island is another beautiful Island in the Pacific Ocean. (especially when it quits raining) LOL
Took this picture today while hiking the beach in Holberg Inlet a couple of miles from where I live. The weather for the past few days has been sunny and warm and we're loving it!
This is a really great shot!! Postcard worthy and it has everything in a landscape shot you coud want. I love the mountains, clouds and water. They offset the green trees perfectly and you've got some really great reflections going on.
Beautiful shot!! Paul, was wondering if you would share with me what type of lenses you are using with your D90? Going to start playing with hubby's D90....should be interesting!! LOL
Val I have 3 lenses I use with my D90. the majority of my pictures are with a Nikon 18-135mm zoom lens 90-95% of the time, for birds and other far away stuff I use my Sigma 120-400mm and to get lots into a picture I use my Sigma 10-20mm ultra wide lens.
If I could choose the ideal lens for the D90 it would be the Nikon 18-200mm VR II. This covers a huge range and would be perfect for 99% of my picture taking. The other lenses are really just expensive toys that are fun to work with...
I also use Photoshop to cleanup most of my pictures and make them more presentable but that's just me.
