Found this very large broken rock on a lonely stretch of beach near the Old Suquash Mine Site. For whatever reason Sunny and Maggie wanted to climb the rock. Both needed help getting up the first 6 feet but scrabbled up the remainder on their own.
Large erratic rocks like this were purportedly deposited in random places by the glaciers that covered this part of the world during the last ice age.
They do how to play in their playground. I bet a lot of people have ask a lot of questions about them! Nice picture!
ReplyDeleteThat is an incredible rock! I bet your dogs had a blast; mine would probably be stuck at the top!
ReplyDeleteMaggie reminds me of Rin Tin Tin standing watch atop split rock. Sure looks like an interesting hike to the mine!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I would be wondering how I was going to get the dogs down. LOL
ReplyDeleteI agree with Parker, looks like Rin Tin Tin (and a pal) on the rock. Rin Tin Tin, I guess we're showing our age, huh, Parker? LOL
