Since, Ron and Aaron spent some time together taking bird pictures lately, I have decided to do the same with my Jonathan by taking him to the lake behind our house to feed the ducks with our old breads. While he going crazy with the ducks, and seagulls. I sat on a bench quietly, and this is what I come up with for you guys this week.
All right there behind your house? That's great but if you let your wife know she will tell you that you don't need to go on any more photos trips. All you need is right there! LOL
ReplyDeleteAs always, these are fantastic! I really like shots 2 and 3. The reflection in shot 3 is just perfect!
I meant to say shots 3 and 4.
Deletereally nice! the snowy egret is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYou are fortunate to have this much diversity of wildlife so close to where you live!
ReplyDeleteAll fantastic captures, I especially like the two pictures of the white birds. These must be Cranes or Ibis's? And what exactly is the plural form of Ibis any way... Ibi? LOL
I'm not sure about the plural on the Ibis. But, I do know that these Cranes or Egrets created a lot of problems in my friend neighborhood about 15 min. drive from my house. Due to a large population in Dallas area, so these birds are not shy to the people. Therefore, it's easy to photograph them.
DeleteAll of them are fantastic. I really like the 4th photo with the reflection. The crow images with the spread wings are amazing with all the detail. Defintly lucky to have this just outside your back door. All I ever get are squirrels in town.
ReplyDeleteNice poses and sharpness .. Congrat ... :-)))
ReplyDeleteThe Snowy Egret shot is stunning with a perfect reflection. Nice capture of the running Coot as well!
