All amazing photos! I like the blurred background in the first three pictures. Interesting and colorful bird in the last shot, nothing like that over here on the West Coast.
On the Hummingbird shot, I setup my camera on the tripod about 5' away from the subject, and trigger the shutter with a remote cord. The bottom shot, to the bird on branch all you have to do is setup the bird feeder next to it. Normally, the bird sitting on the branch nearby to checkout the feeder before they attacking it.
A 105mm? Were you in camoflage hiding in the tree? These are great!

ReplyDeleteThe first shot without the flash, the shutter speed it was 1/1250 at f/8. The bottom three shots, I did use 3 remote flashes triggered with a SU-800.
