Every second year the "Van-Isle 360" sailing race is held. This is a race all the way around Vancouver Island approximately 660 miles. The race is done in stages and takes about 11 days to complete. Today's stage finished in Port Hardy. In the morning the racers will be on their way to the next stage. Not only was it a beautiful day for racing it was also a beautiful day for taking pictures!
Looks like fun! Nice shots.
ReplyDelete11 days! serious contenders!
ReplyDeleteLots of poeple on those boats! I really like that top shot. The clouds int he sky really make it great!
ReplyDeleteThat top shot is awesome! Really like how the clouds mimic the mountains and foreground. Are you going out in your boat to get some pictures of them out at sea?
ReplyDeleteIf I had the time I'd love to go out and photograph these racers in action, especially on the open ocean portion of the race!
