Flowers up close






A few more wildflowers as they come into season but flower after flower becomes boring, so I decided to show portions of them up close.

      Yes all hand held but I do keep a tripod and monopod in the truck, though I can't remember the last time I used either one of them.

      The older I get the more I have to rely on a tripod for the detailed photos unless I don't care if they are blurry! LOL

      I'm impressed that you can hold the camera that still and get those kind of photos. It must be that death grip you have on the camera!

      I think it's more the Nikon vibration reduction and a fast shutter speed than my steady hands...
