Well as long as we're posting bug pictures... Here is another inhabitant of our temperate rain forest, a centipede. I've seen several types around here and as far as I know these particular ones are harmless. There is another type that is a dark red color that can sting you though I've never been stung.
Wonder how he gets all those legs to move in an orderly fashion? LOL
