It's six o'clock somewhere

The sun always sets right around 6:00 p.m. every day on the islands. They don't have daylight savings time in Hawai'i so you don't have to worry about it changing on you.

  1. 6 p.m. would seem early for the summer to me here in Iowa, but it's very interesting to learn! The sky is beautiful! Love the palms.

    1. And...I forgot to mention...Good for Hawaii on not using Daylight Savings Time! It would be nice to be without the hassle of changing the clock twice a year!

  2. I was having a perfectly fine day until I saw this! Thanks... :)

Real nice sunset, the palm silhouettes make a perfect foreground for this picture!

  3. 12-13 hours for daylight depending on whether its summer or winter. Takes a bit of getting used to at first. I miss those long days of summer in the Midwest, but I guess it evens out throughout the entire year. This morning I was excited to hear the weather man say we got an extra minute of daylight today!!! Summer is coming :)
