Full Moon on Haleakala

I went to the top of the volcano a couple of weeks ago to get a few shots of the full moon. It was an interesting learning experience trying to get the moon and the ground with just the right amount of light.

This was shot with a 20mm f1.8 lens and that is why I ended up with the star burst around the moon.

  1. Not so easy to get the ground in a picture like this to show up properly... Really nice capture and a great place to take photos!
