A rare patch of filtered sun illuminated the docks and waterfront buildings of Sointula on Malcolm Island. Took this handheld with the Sigma 120-400 at 400mm from Hyde Creek an even smaller community on Northern Vancouver Island.
Not only blustery, but it looks downright cold. The wind sure has the water stirred and capping, even the buoy appears to be having a hard time staying put! From all the masts I can see gathered at the docks, looks like all the boats are in today. Hope you were not out in yours today!
Paul this pic almost makes one feel the salty spray and cold blustery winds that you experienced this day! Nothing like a well shown scene that makes this viewer feel like he was a part of it also! Good Capture!

wow. wicked seas!
ReplyDeleteNot a day that I would want to be on a boat.
ReplyDeleteI love it when the sea's like that.
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to puke just looking at it! LOL
ReplyDeleteNot your photography of course.
Me and rough seas while on a boat don't produce very good results!
