Coal Harbour 70 years later...

While looking around on the internet a few nights ago I came across some WWII era photos of Coal Harbour when it was a Royal Canadian Airforce Base (Seaplane operations). Just for the fun of it I put together a few before and after pictures. Still a few of the old buildings left...

  1. That's pretty interesting. It looks like you were standing in the exact same spots as when the old photos were taken, like you knew the spot. How old are you? LOL

    1. Pretty close to the same spots... the third old picture had me stumped for most of an evening before I figured out where it was and Coal Harbour only has 7 streets!

Though WWII seems like a thousand years ago a quick bit of math tells me I was born just 15 years after WWII ended. UGH! Now I feel really old...

    2. LOL! Very impressive story! There's one thing I can see that the road hasn't widen for 70 years.
