With feeling I had a grasp of the concept of how to do it and not getting much lighting in the frame, I told the wife I was leaving for a better location. With a weird look and a be careful , I was off. At the second location I switched the camera to bulb mode and held it until I captured a lighting bolt or two. Needless to say some of the shutter lengths were in the two to three minute range.
I am more than impressed. Not luck; it's the result of good planning on your part. Plus a little divine intervention!!
ReplyDeleteI am also impressed! Very nice job!!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to photograph lightning myself and even thought about it last night too but the agrument between sitting on the couch and going out with the camera was won by the couch.
These really are great shots!
I though about calling you but I figured you had already went to bed. I guess I should have called. I wouldn't have want to keep you from the couch. LOL
DeleteWhen you get older like me the couch is very important!
