As I was driving home from Oklahoma this past Saturday night I watched as this "super moon" rose into the sky. According to the scientists, "On May 5, we had a so-called"supermoon,"the largest and brightest full moon of 2012. The full moon was nearly atperigee — as close to Earth as it can get — and it looked huge in the sky as a result."
I took this photo with the Nikon 28-300mm VRII lens and cropped it A LOT.
got some great clarity!
ReplyDeleteThat came out not bad for having cropped it A LOT!
ReplyDeleteNo "Super Moon" in my part of the world, it was cloudy that week... Bummer because I was hoping to get some moonrise pictures and had a couple of locations all picked out to shoot from. Just have to try again next month!
I definitely cropped it a bunch. I would say around 80%.
ReplyDeleteYou can always try for the solar eclipse later this month, providing you have a solar filter. I think the eclipse is supposed to happen on the 19th or 20th.
Soar eclipse eh? I'll have to check that out! Hopefully the weather cooperates this time.
