Today while Parker got wired, Q did portraits and Ron took a shower I dug a hole. LOL
Been getting some interesting work with the new tractor. Today some water line repairs and last week pushing trees over and stacking the logs. I still can't get over the fact that I get paid to play with my new toy!
And a deep one it was!
ReplyDeleteVersatile machine you got there. Been awhile since we have seen this Toy, and now we get to see it in action! More fun than a barrel full of monkeys! LOL
That is a big hole! It looks like you used the wide angle lens to get everything in.
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to get paid to have fun but who had to crawl into the muddy hole to fix the water line? LOL
Good call Ron, I did use the ultra wide, though it does make the hole look bigger than it really was!
DeleteAs for crawling into the hole to fix the water line... I had my son along for that part! LOL
You're giving away too many secrets, you're supposed to say, yes, htat was a massive hole and I had to use the wide angle to get it all in the picture! LOL
DeleteGood call on sending the son into the hole. I think I would have done the same thing!
i'm laughing. too cute.
ReplyDeleteOH Paul, I just showed my hubby this photo and he is sooooo jealous!! He has the same Kioti tractor and dreams of one day having that backhoe thing to call his own!! LOL Yes, that is one big hole....funny how men love to play with toys that dig really big holes.
ReplyDeleteVal I'll bet your husband just loves his Kioti, I know I sure am happy with mine! Just owning a tractor, loader, backhoe combo causes the phone to ring. People come out of the woodwork asking can I do this or can I do that.
DeleteWhen he gets his backhoe attachment tell him to get the KB 2485 which is actually for the DK series tractors. The KB 2485 has a longer reach and is better sized for the CK series machines.
One other addition I'm glad I purchased was the 4-N-1 loader bucket. This has opened a world of possibilities for what jobs I can take on.
hmmmm....don't know if I should tell him or not!! LOL He does enjoy that tractor and there are days I don't see him for HOURS.... Unfortunately his baby is in the hospital right now :( something was leaking.
ReplyDeleteWhile I was away last saturday he went and got a Mechron2200. I call it the Ranch Rover!! What a fun little machine. My girlz love riding around in it. NOw I can't wait til the tractor is repaired and home so I can play with the ranch rover.
Oh now I see how you are. First you want his camera and now it's the ranch rover!! LOL
DeleteLOL,if I play my cards right, it's mine!!!! :)
DeleteI know how you feel getting pay while playing with your toys. Sometime I do get pay for doing photography, but it seems I paid more out of my pocket on my new toys. I'm glad to see you put a good use to your backhoe. Around here, those construction companies usually have some kind of barricades around these big hole like that for safety. Otherwise, you may have to spend some time in court. About 15 years ago, while walking to the store in 2' of snow from my relative house in Toronto, just about 50 yards I fall into a 8-10' hole, and 5' diameter covered in snow. I never been so scares in my life, and screaming for help before. It sound stupid, but you would expected someone will put something around the damn thing for you to see. That's one of the reason, I have not visit Toronto again.
ReplyDeleteOh yes on the barricades! If I am leaving a hole like this unattended the barricades go up!
DeleteVery unfortunate for you in Toronto. Hopefully there was no rebar or other ugly stuff in the hole you fell into. What a nasty suprise this must have been for you!
I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time and Paul is right, it could have been a very serious deal but that's the kind of stuff that gets on TV on America's Funniest Home Videos and wins $10,000! LOL
