Kate these are just a few of the many. The tallest mounted one with it's many holes, was made out of 125+year old cypress wood salvaged from a barn in Texas. The small ones hanging on the fence are mostly handmade and painted with help from the Gkids. On the left border of the pic and half shown is a gazebo like feeder, made years ago by wife's Dad. We have seen the sparrows use the houses to escape the cold in winter, but they mainly hang out in the bushes.
I think I feel a cool breeze!
ReplyDeleteI thought you were supposed to put eggs in the basket?? LOL
Hens all froze out, so Rojo just jumped in!
DeleteI wonder if Rojo got "cold" feet... LOL
ReplyDeleteSo thats why he was walking around on his spurs!LOL
DeleteI'm interested in all the birdhouses that line the fence. I imagine they aren't used in this scene.
