OK, I have to admit that the early morning light is a good time to take photos but I still hate to get up early!
I took this photo about 6:30 a.m. this morning as the sun was coming up over the horizon. The windmill is normally an old rusted color (mainly because it's old and rusted) but the early morning light gave it a nice bright orange tone like it was a new windmill.
The sky and the windmill inspires me to start out a bit earlier, too, for a photo shoot.
ReplyDeleteQué bonito!!!.. :-)))
ReplyDeleteNice capture. The color of the spinning blades reminds me of a peppermint candy!
ReplyDeleteYou must have woke up hungry this morning! LOL
Delete6:30, what's up with that? I know the early bird gets the worm and all that, but honestly who wants worms! LOL
ReplyDeleteNice find and capture! I've always been fascinated by these old windmills. The fact that it is still operating after who knows how many years is a testament to it's sturdy construction. Is this also on the property where you are?
Paul,
DeleteThe windmill is located about 20 feet behind the main house. That's the only reason I got a photo of it this morning, all I had to do is step out into the back yard with the tripod. LOL
LOL I should have known...
DeleteShots of opportunity Paul, especially at 6:30 in the morning!! LOL
Deletei LOVE this! pinwheel!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are great colors Ron! Must be nice to windmill so close by! Very cool!
ReplyDelete6:30am, and using a tripod! This is not Ron that I know. LOL
ReplyDeleteI like the way you dragging the shutter to create the wheel motion. Good work!
Thanks Q! I learned that somewhere, can't remember where though. LOL
DeleteVery nice capture.
