Beavers Bend State Park.

This one came from 200-400mm lens, and the other 3 are from 17-35mm.

The top 3 are from Sunrise.  There is another Photographer from Dallas that he wouldn't share a spot on the dry dock with me.  Therefore, I have to shoot these pictures by standing in the water during a cold morning 30F.

To get in this shot, I have to requested this gentlemen to turn around and paddled in-front of me.  Also, I was holding the camera just 4" above the water at f/16.

  1. Nice Fall scenes! Really like the first photo in this series it seems to have all the right Fall ingredients... Your post processing in the third shot really brought the sky and reflections to life!

  2. A photographer who wouldn't share? He's got some bad karma coming his way!

I'm with Paul, I really like the third shot although, the last shot with the yellow kayak really brings out the fall colors.

Cold water and that close to it with your camera? You are a brave man!

  3. Wonderful series you have going showcasing Beavers Bend State Park. The scenes of Fall really capture the beauty of this Oklahoma Gem!

The last pic could be a Poster Pic for "Kayak Oklahoma!"
