The reflections in the water caught my eye this day and I wanted to photograph just the reflections without all of the other "junk" in the photo. I didn't quite get it all out but I got close.
I used a graduated ND filter on this photo with it set at an angle to run along the shore line so I could tone down the brighter shore line from the reflections in the water. This was taken in Medicine Park, OKlahoma on my last trip there.
Yes a nice take. Beautiful!
ReplyDeletereally pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteMedicine Creek never looked so well! What little bit of the cobblestone
ReplyDeletefeatures that remained in the photo I think gave it a nice touch. The dose of "Medicine" you prescribed for this 'shot' had all the right ingredients!
Using your graduated ND filter worked out real well for this shot! Nice to find this beautiful place, even nicer to know how to capture it with your camera.
ReplyDeleteGood job on using the GND filter. I love the colors on this picture, and using the shoreline to frame your shot. By the way, I wish you were here in Beavers Bend State Park. It's a beautiful place to visit, and I got some shots on the eagle this morning. It was cold last night, wife and the kids are suffering. Therefore, I'm checking at the lake view lodge for them that way I have more time for photograph. LOL.
ReplyDeleteYou know what they say Q; to have a happy life you need a happy wife! I would make sure she was very comfortable and happy so you can go take photos. Maybe find a spa she can go to. LOL
DeleteThis is definitely a cool reflection and angel. Its picture perfect.=) Nice shot Parker!
DeleteIts like an angel but I meant to say angle.LOL
DeleteOH MY! And then I call you Parker? *shaking head*
DeleteThats OK Sandy, I don't mind being confused with Parker, well, as long as there are no bulls around! LOL
