You are welcome Tex. I wanted to post these right after they were taken but had a hard time posting pics on blogger. Couldn't get to My Pics from the page.
Up early? that's an understatement. The latest I have slept any morning since we've been here is 6:00 a.m. Most mornings I've been waking up at 4:00 a.m. because I just can't get used to the time change.
The rain is gone for now. Supposed to be 78 and sunny the rest of our trip.
Over here on the coast we have the saying... "Red sky in the morning sailors take warning, red sky at night sailors delight" and it seems to hold true for the most part. Does the weather work that way in Oklahoma too?
We have that saying also Paul. Usually it rings fairly true. Heard there was some chances for rain/snow coming in tomorrow. But today 69 degrees is forecast with some sunshine and clouds!
There are very few scenes that are better than sunrises and sunsets. Great photos! PS. I have been out of town, Up North, for a week near the Canadian border without internet or cell phone capability. Very peaceful and serene and I loved it; gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. But I have not been able to visit any of my blogger friends. It'll take awhile to read all of my email messages and to visit your posts to see what I've missed, but it's good to be back!
that's incredibly beautiful, parker. thank you!

Good morning to you! It's not even 7:20 here yet. Love the colors in the sky and having the bird house in the photo is a nice touch.

DeleteHope your morning sky is clear. You don't need any more rain chances for awhile!
