All three shots are great but that first one is really great. Very close up and detailed. How about a lesson? What lens? Did you use and flash and what were the settings? Teach me Master! The grasshopper must learn these techniques. LOL
Back in Dec. I have a chance to play around with a new D4 that I borrowed from a Nikon Rep. I took this shot while waiting for the birds. It was on Nikon D4, Nikon 600mm, no flash, f/13, ISO 200, and shutter speed 1/180.
Sorry, it was on 800mm lens, and I was about 20 feet away taking this shot. I'm going to get another chance to use this set up again once I'm done building my patio. I need to sell half of my equipment to able to afford this set up.
Wow three beautiful photos! I agree with Ron the top picture is quite something and very detailed. Sounds like you had some top notch equipment to make this capture with.
Lovely...

DeleteNikon 600mm? You would have had to be 10-15 feet away for it to focus wouldn't you?
DeleteThat's a great shot. So now all you need is an "extra" 15 grand and you can have that set up. LOL
