They have issued a winter storm warning for our area starting at 6:00 a.m. on Monday. They are telling us to expect up to another 14 inches of snow, freezing rain and ice before it ends around noon on Tuesday.
If I don't post any photos for the next couple of days you will know I am busy shoveling snow (or more likely, drinking a beer by the fire!)
ha ha! that's my kinda storm life, too. :)
ReplyDeleteA beer by the fire definitely sounds better than shoveling snow!
ReplyDeleteI won't believe it til I see it. Our big storm last week was a mere 4 inches and it's gone already. We need moisture so badly. So we aren't preparing for this storm....that way we'll get it!!! Don't worry though, we've got beer in the fridge. LOL
ReplyDeleteSounds like a big one too! Guess we are in for another round ourselves but nothing like the numbers you guys are in for. Button down the hatches and be safe!
ReplyDeleteThe fridge is stocked, the beer is cold, the firewood is in and we have the backup propane heater ready with several full 20# tanks ready to go.
DeleteI may miss my massage appointment on Tuesday though, I may not be able to survive without that! LOL
Way to go! Figured you were well prepared. Don't know what to say about your massage appt.? You might just have to rub your back against a door knob or a door frame. Sounds bad!haha
DeleteOh no more snow!!! Have to say though I like your idea of being prepared for even more snow... Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteHello Felicia,
ReplyDeleteWhen we make the move to a tropical climate it will be to Hawaii. Nothing against Florida but if we;re going to move Hawaii will be the place we go.
Until then I will just keep moaning and groaning about the weather here. LOL
I hope it doesn't make a swing to Dallas. I need to finish my patio! Could you stand in the snow, I want to see how bad you get. LOL,
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Well at least you're making the most of it. Is the pretty picture of Hawaii supposted to deter you from this storm? Enjoy the beer!
