Just some random fish swimming along the surface of the ocean in Maui. The first shot was taken along Ka'anapali Beach and the second shot was taken in front of our condo in Honokowai.
There's a whole other world just under the surface and it's very interesting by the looks of your pictures! Can't say as I've seen the fish in your top picture before...

ReplyDeleteQuite a variety; from sharp pointed torpedoes to zebra striped! Salt water fish do catch your eye!

ReplyDeleteThose are flat tailed needle fish or "Aha" in Hawaiian. I saw a lot of them this trip. They always swim in schools and usually stay near the surface.
