These were all taken with the Nikon 105mm "micro" (macro) lens and cropped about 50%.
This first photo is some kind of tiny little flower that I of course, have no idea what it is called. Look for the little bee inside the white flower on the bottom left.
This is the inside of a "purple flower". I'm pretty sure that's the name. LOL
Weed seeds, better known as a dandelion.
Looks like violets. I have them .
ReplyDeleteWow nice pictures especiially that middle one! Sure a bonus having so many pixels to work with. Looking forward to seeing more of your macro pictures.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having fun shooting in macro. Quite a change from your usual landscape and sunset shots! These are nice and crisp!
ReplyDeletelaughing at your naming. :) beautiful shots, though.
ReplyDeleteThe dandelion image is beautiful; too bad they're so pesky, yet they make good wine and interesting greens to add to a salad.
ReplyDeleteI am really drawn to the middle photo. Really like how it turned out. The stigma and anther part of the flower almost seem to be glowing. You really got a lot of detail on the weed. Nice set of macros.
ReplyDeleteThese are nice! R U falling in love this lens?
ReplyDeleteI'm still learning how to get the best out of the lens but I do love it so far.
