Found this picture on the Oklahoma Historic Sites web site. Before the Wagon Trains the Cherokee used to call this place "Nv-gi ani-nv-ya e-qua-ni" which roughly translated means "Four Rocks Ridge" I wonder what it is called now?
How about that, I guess you can learn something new now matter how old you are. Nice find and thanks for the photo! That could come in very handy in the future when looking at old maps.
Your photo looks like it was taken from the exact spot where I took mine from. I guess they might call it "two rocks fell ridge" now!
I guess now I will have to climb up there and find out where the other two rocks went.
