It's not Hawai'i....


...but it's not my front yard either!


We spent a couple of days in the Colorado mountains this past weekend and I finally got a chance to take a few photos.

I also learned that spending a lot of time at high elevations requires patience and moving slower than usual, something along the pace of a government employee I think. LOL

  1. You are probably already feel comfortable with the 14-24mm lens! The colors on these photos are great, may be it got to do with the LEE filters! There's a way to do lens correction on the CS5 to make the picture less distored. So, how's the LEE filters treating you?

    1. I like the filters a lot Q. They're big for the 14-24mm so I had to reconfigure my bag but other than that they're great.

      I thought about doing the lens correction on the first shot but I kind of liked the feel the distorion gave to the shot. It wasn't my best shot to begin with but there was just something about it I liked.
